Introducing Power Fluency™: Women Don’t Need to Be Fixed

Over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time asking a simple question:

What if we’ve been solving the wrong problem?

For decades, leadership development for women has largely started from the same assumption: Women need to be fixed. Women constantly hear all the ways they are lacking and are told to:

Speak with more confidence.
Develop more executive presence.
Be more assertive.
Negotiate harder.
Want it more.

But what if there was never anything wrong with women in the first place?

What if the real challenge is that so much of leadership is still learned through informal networks, trusted mentors, closed-door conversations, and years of insider experience?

Things like:

  • How executives make decisions.
  • How organizational politics really work.
  • How sponsorship happens.
  • How revenue creates credibility.
  • How AI can become a force multiplier for leadership.

These aren’t innate abilities or skills people are born with; they’re lessons that are learned over time. The problem is that not everyone has equal access to them.

That belief has shaped one of the most important initiatives we’ve ever undertaken at Women in Revenue.

Today, I’m incredibly excited to introduce Power Fluency™.

Power Fluency is built on a different premise: women don’t need to be fixed. What they need is access to information and strategic knowledge that is too often passed from one insider to another.

They need an opportunity to become fluent in the language of power.

Women in Revenue is providing that opportunity to our members with all-new programming that decodes how power and influence operate broadly and within organizations. We’ll tackle topics like:

  • The hidden rules that shape promotions.
  • Building influence inside your organization.
  • Negotiating re-entry after family leave.

Our full Power Fluency™ calendar for the rest of the year is up, and you can register for any (or all!) of our sessions. Check out the menu (see below), join us, and be sure to keep checking our Events Calendar as we continue to add sessions for 2027:
