Public speaking is more than standing at a podium. It is about being seen, being heard, and shaping the conversations that move industries forward.
That is why Women in Revenue created the Speakers Program, a community-driven initiative that helps women develop speaking skills, secure opportunities, and gain visibility across top conferences and platforms.
Michelle Kim, WIR Board Member and Speakers Program Chair, describes the mission clearly: “To train, inspire, and place women speakers, so that we can see and hear more women on screens, on stages, and on podcasts.”
What the Speakers Program Offers
The program supports women at all stages of their speaking journey, from first-time presenters to seasoned executives. Its approach is both practical and empowering:
- Quarterly training sessions led by expert coaches, focusing on topics like commanding the room, storytelling, building your personal brand, and communicating with confidence.
- Speaker placements at live and virtual events, including Women in Revenue’s own events, industry conferences, and podcasts.
- Community support through a private Slack channel where speakers connect, share opportunities, and learn from one another.
- Visibility and promotion through podcasts, newsletters, and LinkedIn features that highlight speakers’ expertise.
The Speakers Program is not a service that simply matches speakers to events. Instead, it’s a supportive ecosystem that prepares women to own the stage and amplify their impact.
Training Designed for Impact
The program prioritizes training that goes beyond presentation skills. Past sessions have included:
- Presence, Posture, and Performance; Prepping for the Presentation with Gayle Keller
- Be a Compelling Communicator Every Time You Speak with Quinn Conyers
- The Power of Influence: How to Wow Event Planners & Your Audience with Hope Timberlake
- Command the Room: Public Speaking Mastery with Melinda Lee
- Empowering Confidence Through Brain and Self with Hana Jacover
In 2025, best-selling author Lorraine Lee led workshops on communicating with confidence on video and transforming your LinkedIn presence. More sessions are scheduled for later this year, with a focus on both practical delivery and long-term career growth.
This focus on skill-building ensures that when women step onto a stage, they bring both confidence and expertise.

Why This Program Matters
Public speaking keeps women top of mind when companies look to fill leadership roles.
The Speakers Program is more than a pathway to speaking engagements. It is a network of women supporting women, a training ground for skills that translate far beyond the stage, and a platform for visibility in industries where women’s voices need to be heard.
For members, it offers growth and confidence. For new voices, it provides a way in.
And for the broader community, it ensures that the next generation of leaders looks more diverse, more representative, and more prepared to lead.
